What Is Microneedling?
Medical microneedling uses a device with fine, sterile needles to create thousands of precise micro-channels in the skin. These controlled micro-injuries trigger the body's natural wound-healing cascade releasing growth factors, stimulating collagen and elastin production, and increasing cellular turnover.
What sets Alliance Regenerative Medicine's microneedling apart is that we use these micro-channels to simultaneously infuse powerful regenerative compounds directly into the skin's deeper layers dramatically enhancing results.
How It Works
As the microneedles create micro-channels, we apply one or more of the following regenerative agents directly to the skin:
- PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) Growth factors from your own blood are absorbed directly through the micro-channels, accelerating healing, stimulating collagen, and promoting cellular renewal from within.
- GHK-Cu (Copper Peptide) A powerful copper-binding peptide that stimulates collagen and elastin synthesis, promotes skin repair, and provides potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. Also effective for scalp microneedling to promote hair growth.
- Hyaluronic Acid A natural molecule that attracts and holds water delivering deep hydration, plumping fine lines, and improving skin firmness and texture when absorbed through micro-channels.
- Stem Cells For more advanced concerns, stem cell-derived exosomes or growth factors can be applied to further drive regeneration and accelerate healing.

What To Expect
Before: A topical numbing cream is applied 30-45 minutes before the procedure.
During: The procedure takes 45-60 minutes. Some patients feel mild warmth or a scratching sensation.
After: Redness and mild sensitivity for 24-48 hours is normal and expected. Skin will appear slightly pink, similar to a mild sunburn.
Results: Improvement in skin texture begins within 2-4 weeks. Optimal collagen remodeling results develop over 3-6 months. A series of 3-6 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart is typically recommended.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from at-home rollers?
Medical microneedling uses sterile, clinical-grade needles at controlled depths (up to 2.5mm), reaching layers of the skin that home devices cannot. The addition of PRP, GHK-Cu, and HA amplifies results dramatically beyond what any at-home device can achieve.
Can I combine treatments in one session?
Yes. Our providers customize each session with the combination of agents best suited to your goals.
Is there downtime?
Minimal. Most patients return to normal activities within 24-48 hours. We recommend avoiding makeup and direct sun for 48 hours post-treatment.
